Antoinette Karuna is a visual artist residing in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. Her current art practice critically engages with issues of multiraciality, immigration, grief, and the South Asian diaspora and its colonial histories.

Karuna's artworks have recently been exhibited at the Acadia University Art Gallery, Cultivate Art Commons Artist-Run Center, and Craft Nova Scotia. Her projects have received funding from the Canada Council for the Arts, Arts Nova Scotia, and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, among others.

Karuna holds a BA in Communication Studies from Concordia University, Montreal, and an MFA in Visual Arts from Memorial University of Newfoundland. She is currently a doctoral student in the PhD in Educational Studies program at St. Francis Xavier University, focusing her research in critical mixed race studies. She teaches filmmaking in the Art Department at St. Francis Xavier University.
